Our Network
Our Mission: Cooperation
We work in a diverse global network that radiates. We know that in cooperation with others we can achieve more to help people live a self-determined life in dignity.
Our network includes organizations of which we are members, with whom we cooperate structurally, as well as organizations and individuals with whom we cooperate or who support our work.
Organizations we are member of:
The international church network ACT Alliance (Action by Churches Together) is one of the largest alliances for humanitarian work and development aid.
ACT Allinance gets involved in disasters, in development issues. It offers sustainable help to people affected by need, poverty or injustice and raises these issues in politics and society.
The Evangelical Mission in Solidarity - Churches and Missions in International Partnership e.V. (EMS).
The EMS is an ecumenical network for mission and international church cooperation. This network is formed by churches and mission societies in Africa, Asia, Europe and the Middle East.
The Evangelical Mission Worldwide (EMW), an umbrella and professional association of Protestant state churches and independent churches, regional mission organizations and individual missionary associations and institutions.
Its content is the ecumenical, missionary and development-related cooperation with Christians and churches overseas and for ecumenical awareness raising in Germany.
Organizations with which we cooperate structurally
We coordinate our international cooperation with other mission societies of the Moravian Church. In the worldwide Unity we cooperate with the Unity Women's Desk UWD and the Moravian Church Foundation MCF.
In the European context we are structurally connected with the Zeister Zendigsgenootschap ZZg in the Netherlands, in Switzerland with Mission 21, in Denmark with Brødremenighedens Danske Mission BDM, in Sweden with Evangeliska Brödraförsamlingen FEPS and the British Mission Board in England.
As part of the worldwide Moravian Church, we have connections with the Board of World Mission BWM in the USA.
We work in partnership with the local provinces of the Moravian Church and other local partners.
Cooperating and supporting organizations and persons
We cooperate with various other organizations, including the Protestant Church of Württemberg, foundations and private initiatives, governmental and social institutions, and other organizations such as Brot für die Welt (Bread for the World).
An important element of our network are our members of the Herrnhuter Missionshilfe, who support us financially, idiell, spiritually and practically and in this way participate in our mission.
